One of the traditional events in Medellin, the second city of Colombia is "El Desfile de Silleteros" . "Silleteros Parade" is the central event of the Festival of Flowers, to which each year flock to local residents and tourists. In the parade unfold million flowers filled saddles on their backs, which is a laborious work of generations of farmers village of Santa Elena , who with over 80 varieties of flowers make beautiful landscapes, portraits, posts with indigenous values and civic, and creations of authors.

Colombia is Passion
Some years ago a Colombian marketing campaign was created to promote the country overseas. One thing that identified Colombians in each aspect of their lives was Passion. Passion for their family, their friends, their life, and their country.
In this post, I want to share a short video created during this marketing campaign. The original video “Colombia is Passion”, designed by Mr. Lightle, has been watched almost one million times on YouTube. It uses a little sweet-voiced Colombian girl that speaks in English to narrate a carefully constructed discourse.
